"Dressing-Down" (Drabble)
Title: "Dressing-Down" (Drabble)
Author: x_los
Rating: R
Pairing: Six/Ainley!Master
Summary: B_E kinkmeme prompt: Six/Master. The Master can't stand the Doctor's outfit. Understandably. Exactly 100 words, excepting the title. (a tidied old kinkmeme drabble)
Beta: aralias

“You’re not fit to be seen with, Doctor. I think you’re trying to repel me with clashing fabrics. You’re lucky I indulge your errors.

I’ll let you out of the arm manacles, if you’ll rend the bow tie.

Now crush the cat pin under your heel—nice and hard, I want to see dust—and I’ll touch your cock. Good. Shoes off.

Throw the waistcoat on the fire.

You do like your striped trousers. I’m feeling generous. Just remove those. Slower. You’re almost fetching under that nonsense.

Burn the coat and you can come. Let me dress you afterwards, and I’ll cuddle.

This must be either a BDSM scenario that’s gone incredibly (literally, I cannot credit it) well, or the stuff of Ainley!Master’s headiest fantasies. Spent a solid 5 min today looking at ‘like’ and ‘those’ and trying to tweak that into something slightly better/slightly more in-voice--to no avail. Ah well.

I am always and forever of the firm opinion that there can never be enough Six/Ainley in the world, and I always did enjoy this on the kinkmeme. The minimalist style of it manages at once to be incredibly hot in and of itself, and also a dreadful tease. So well done there. I can especially hear Ainley's leer on 'I want to see dust', and 'you're almost fetching'.

My one nitpick, if you're interested in tidying, is really just the first line-- I feel like 'you're not fit to be seen with' would make more sense than 'in', or else 'those [clothes] aren't fit to be seen in'. *can't turn off the internal brain editor, apparently*

Well, it's supposed to be in as in... sexually? Clothes aren't fit to be seen in, the normal phrase is you're not fit to be seen with, someone not fit to be seen in might be someone you'd be embarrassed to find fucking b/c they look like a children's birthday clown?

Ahh, gotcha. I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure that bit of wordplay quite works, but I can definitely appreciate the ridiculousness of the Master taking the time to come up with puns to insult the Doctor when he's about to have sex with the man.

Yeah, I'm really of two minds about it as well. :/ I'll ask Katy, I think. TY btw, helpful!
